NOTABLE
• Morehead State has owned the upper hand recently in the series with Tennessee Tech, however the Eagles have lost the last three of four games played against the Golden Eagles in Cookeville. Since the 2007-08 season, MSU is 24-6 against Tech including 14 wins in the last 15 times the teams have played in Morehead.

• Morehead State's 10-game winning streak before Saturday's setback at Murray State was the third longest in program history. The last five times MSU has put together a winning streak of 6+ games as a program that was snapped in season, the team won its next game.

Johni Broome went over the 500-rebound mark for his career with 11 more at Murray State on Jan. 29.

• Morehead State's 39 wins in the last two seasons is the most for any Division I program from Kentucky.

• With his double-double and five blocks at SEMO Jan. 27, Johni Broome became the first Division I player in the last decade to accomplish 15+ points, 10+ rebounds and 5+ blocks in three consecutive wins (via ESPN research team and Jared Berson).

Johni Broome's double-double total keeps climbing with each game. He has accomplished a double-double in five straight games, now 11 of the last 13 games this winter, and 15 overall. He ranks third in the nation and first in the OVC  in double-doubles. The MSU and OVC record for single-season double-doubles is 28 by Kenneth Faried in 2010-11.

Johni Broome is now tied with Kenneth Faried for fourth place in single-season blocked shots with 82 and has moved to third in career blocked shots in program history with 138 (in just 52 career games).

• According to the record book and historical stats that are available, Johni Broome is the ONLY MSU men's player in the modern era (post 1972 when freshmen were allowed to play on varsity teams) to block 5 or more shots in four consecutive games.

• Ta'Lon Cooper ranks fourth in the nation in total assists with 137. Cooper also has four games with 10+ assists this season, which ranks tied for second in the nation with Saint Louis' Yuri Collins. Cooper is now ranked sixth in MSU history with 342 assists. His season total is currently the 15th highest in program history.

Tray Hollowell's streak of making at least 1 three-pointer a game has reached 28. Hollowell recently scored his 1,000th career collegiate point and enters the TTU game with 1,061 career points - which would rank 30th in the MSU 1,000-point club.

• After only scoring in double figures in two of the previous nine games, junior guard Skyelar Potter's production has ramped up in the last five games, where he has scored 10+ every time. In fact, in those five games, Potter ranks second in team in point production at 14.4 per game. Also, just in the last three games, Potter averaged 8.0 rebounds per game.

• Morehead State has only made less than five three-pointers in a game once this season. The Eagles' 8.5 three-pointers per game is the highest average during head coach Preston Spradlin's five-year tenure.

• Morehead State's coaching staff is one of the most experienced in the Ohio Valley Conference. Between Head Coach Preston Spradlin, Associate Head Coach Jonathan Mattox and Assistant Coaches Scott Combs and Dominic Lombardi, the Eagle bench possesses more than 30 years of Division I experience.
