MOREHEAD, Ky. – Women's hoops continues their road trip in the Volunteer State with a matchup against Austin Peay Saturday.
Morehead State is coming off a defeat at Tennessee Tech on Thursday, where they outscored the Golden Eagles 18-17 in the first quarter, but couldn't keep their momentum through the rest of the game and fell 78-48.

Terri Smith once again led the Eagles with 15 points apiece.
Austin Peay has opened OVC play 1-1 on the season, with head coach Brittany Young's first conference victory coming against Southeast Missouri. The Governors saw four players reach double-figures, including junior Shay-Lee Kirby who led Austin Peay in scoring for the second time this season and matched her season-high 16 points.

Cayla Petree is set to be reunited with Austin Peay junior Liz Gibbs, who played under Petree last year at Gulf Coast State College, where she averaged 7.3 points per game.
• Some of the program's best individual games in their history were recorded against APSU, as all-time leading scorer Chynna Bozeman posted two separate 30-point performances, scoring 37 in 2010 and 30 in 2011.

Terri Smith has been Morehead State's leading scorer in five of their last seven games. She is also leading the conference and is 17th in the country in minutes played per game (36.7).
• Morehead State has scored the first field goal of the game in four of their last five contests.

Janay Rose leads the team in field goal percentage, making 60% of her shots, which is the third highest percentage in the OVC.
