MOREHEAD, Ky. – After a lengthy road trip, Morehead State women's hoops returns home Thursday to take on conference co-leader Tennessee Tech.
Morehead State dropped their makeup game at Tennessee State Monday, 77-60. Sophomore
Jada Claude once again led the Eagles, this time putting up a career-high 24 points to go alongside 10 rebounds for her OVC-leading 7th double-double on the season. Fellow sophomore
Alana Denson put forth a strong effort with 10 points, including a pair of three point shots and freshman
Morgan Browning reach double figures for the first time with a career-high 10 points.
Tennessee Tech moved to 8-2 in conference play with their victory over UT Martin Monday. Graduate student Anna Jones led all scorers with a season-high 25 points. Jones notched her third career double-double as she pulled down 12 rebounds, her second in three games. Sophomore Anna Walker and graduate student Mackenzie Coleman rounded out the scoring for the Golden Eagles with 14 and 13 points, respectively.
