NOTABLE

• This contest represents the sixth top-25 team MSU has faced in the last two seasons, with the other two this year - Xavier and Auburn - both ranked No. 22 at the time. Morehead State last hosted a ranked team on Jan. 18, 2012 when the Racers came to Johnson Arena at No. 10/12. The Eagles fell in a close game 66-60 that day.

• Morehead State's current 20-game home winning streak is the second longest in program history, trailing only the 23 straight from 2009-10 through 2010-11. MSU currently owns the third longest home winning streak in Division I behind Houston and Gonzaga.

• Morehead State's 42 wins in the last two seasons is the most for any Division I program from Kentucky.

Johni Broome has recorded a double-double in 18 of the 26 games this season and is looking to become just the second player in program history (Kenneth Faried has MSU single-season double-double record of 28) to get 20 double-doubles in one year. He ranks second nationally in that NCAA stat category.

Johni Broome is three blocks shy of 100 for the season. With his next three swats, he'll become the first OVC player to record 100+ blocks in a season since Austin Peay's Chris Horton in 2012-13. Only three other players in OVC history (TTU's Lorenzo Coleman did it twice) have blocked 100+ in a single season. Broome ranks third nationally in blocks and blocks per game. The MSU program record for single-season blocks is 115 by George Williams in 1973-74.

Johni Broome ranks FIRST in the OVC in rebounds (10.7), blocked shots (3.7) and field goal percentage (.564). Only three other OVC players have ever led the league in ALL three of those categories at the end of a season and not since 1998-99 (Carlos Rogers - TSU - 1993-94; Lorenzo Coleman - TTU - 1996-97; Bud Eley - SEMO - 1998-99).

• Ta'Lon Cooper ranks third in the nation in total assists with 162. That total is now tied for seventh on the program's single-season assist list. He has 18 games with 5+ assists. Cooper is also now up to fifth place in career assists at Morehead State with 367. Only four players in program history have ever dished out more than 400 career assists.

Tray Hollowell's three-point string has climbed to 32 straight games. Hollowell is attempting to become the first MSU player in program history to hit at least one three-pointer in every game he appears in during a single season.

Tray Hollowell has nailed 73 three-pointers this season. That total now ranks tied for seventh in single-season program history and is the most triples made since Marsell Holden's 73 in 2011-12. He has 259 career three-pointers made.

• MSU's 218 three-pointers made is the second most for the team in the last eight seasons. The 2018-19 team made 260.

• The Eagles dropped a game (at Belmont Thursday) for just the first time in the last three seasons (65 games) when holding a lead with a minute left in regulation.
