MOREHEAD, Ky. – Due to the potential of rain in Greenville, N.C.'s forecast this weekend, East Carolina softball has rescheduled its Purple-Gold Invitational. The four-team event will now have three games a day from Friday through Sunday at the Max R. Joyner Family Stadium.
The most noteworthy change is that Morehead State (0-13) will face Bryant twice instead of Rider.
MSU's schedule was altered in both the order of its opponents and times of its contests. The Eagles will now face East Carolina (8-10) and Bryant (0-7) on Saturday at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., and then Bryant (0-7) and Rider (5-4) on Sunday at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., respectively.
The new schedule:

10 a.m. – Rider vs. Bryant
