MOREHEAD, Ky. – Morehead State women's golf wrapped up play at the WKU Spring Break Shootout Tuesday afternoon, finishing the two-day event tying for fifth, carding a 299-292-296—887.
"We are really proud of another solid tournament. This was a very good ball striking event for us and our proximity to the hole was really impressive across the board. It was also very impressive how well our team handled the swirling winds. We held our own with another top-5 finish against a very strong field," head coach
Stephanie Barker said.
Fifth-year
Bridget Connolly finished the tournament tying for 15th, fashioning rounds of 77-71-72—220. Connolly had consistent play in rounds two and three, and had strong scoring on par 3s and par 5s, averaging one under par and two under par, respectively.
Two other Eagles,
