The game will not be broadcasted on ESPN+, but live stats will be available during the contest.

NOTABLE
  • Morehead State's Alex Jacobs extended his streak to 13 games and his on-base streak to 21 games in the weekend series vs. Murray State. Both of those streaks are team-highs for the Eagles this season. He also hit his second home run of the season on Sunday.
  • Roman Kuntz showed off both power and contact at the plate over the weekend, finishing with five hits in the series to bring his batting average up to .300. His fourth homer of the season came on Sunday in the form of a three-run no-doubter over the right field wall that gave the Eagles a 9-1 lead in the series-clinching win.
  • Morehead State's pitching had a day to remember on Sunday, as Grant Herron (seven), John Sherman (six), Matt Bettio (four), and Sam Replogle (one) combined for 18 strikeouts, a season-high.
  • Bryce Ray's first hit of the season was a big one, as his pinch-hit seventh inning grand slam sparked a comeback win for the Eagles on Saturday.
  • Jackson Feltner continued his great year at the plate over the weekend as well. After a hitless effort in the opener, Feltner responded in a big way Saturday with a three-hit game, including a game-tying two-run homer. The reigning OVC Freshman of the Year reached base and scored twice Sunday as well despite not recording a hit.
  • Ryley Preece put together an all-around great performance in Sunday's 10-2 victory, posting two hits (including his team-leading sixth home run of the season) and swiping two bases as well. The Johnson Central native has started all 23 games as the leadoff hitter and center-fielder for the Eagles, and is currently batting .280 with 14 runs batted in on the season.
  • John Bakke picked up his fourth save of the season on Saturday, working a perfect inning with a strikeout and a great catch on a line drive right back at him for the final out. Bakke now sits alone in third place in the OVC in saves.
  • Northern Kentucky comes in after losing five straight, but the Norse do own a victory over #7 Mississippi State earlier in the season.
