PROBABLE STARTER FOR MOREHEAD STATE
Trevor Callahan (0-0, 10.80 ERA) - First start of his career came against Louisville last week.

NOTABLE
  • Jackson Feltner has reached base in every game this season for Morehead State, which is good for a 12-game on-base streak. He also comes in riding a four-game hit-streak, with three multi-hit games in that time.
  • Nick Gooden lost a seven-game hit streak in the opener against Eastern Michigan, but responded well in Saturday's doubleheader with a three-hit performance in game one and a game-tying home run in the second game. It was Gooden's first long ball of the season.
  • Relief pitcher Jarrett Miller has been a bright spot out of the bullpen so far this season. The right-hander from Plymouth, Ohio has not given up a run in his last four appearances, good for six and one-third scoreless innings in a row. He has at least one strikeout in those four appearances including three Ks in two and two-thirds innings against Louisville.
  • Morehead State has swept the last two doubleheaders the Eagles have played. The Eagles won 4-3 and 5-2 in a Saturday twin bill versus Canisius on February 26, and won 15-14 and 5-4 this past Saturday versus Eastern Michigan.
  • Longtime Eagles' catcher Brody Shoupe comes in swinging a hot bat as of late, notching three hits combined in the two wins over Eastern Michigan. He drove in two with a single in the eighth inning in game one that gave the Eagles the win, and drove in another in game two.
  • Bellarmine comes in looking to end a 10-game losing streak. The Knights' lone win came in the season's opening weekend in the form of a 4-2 victory over Gardner-Webb University.
