RESULTS (MATCH 1 | MATCH 2)

MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Beach Volleyball accomplished a clean sweep over visiting Louisville on Senior Day at Fazoli's Breadstick Beach Friday. The Eagles battled to 5-0 wins in both contests.

No. 1 pair Olivia Lohmeier (program's career win leader) and Allison Whitten (program's career winning percentage leader) claimed straight set wins in both, winning 21-9, 21-11 first and 21-16, 21-13 in the finale.

No. 2 flight Bella Williams and Olivia Montelisciani won 21-13, 21-16 in the opener and then outlasted their foes 21-6, 17-21, 20-18 as the final match being played in the nightcap.

At No. 3, Trinity Miller and Anya Reinhard lost their first set 22-20 but then claimed four straight to win both matches. They won 20-22, 21-13, 15-11 and 23-21, 21-17. On court four, Abby Hulsman and Margaret Musselman swept U of L's fourth pairing 21-12, 21-19 and 21-13, 21-10.

In the fifth flight, Raegan Alexander and Irene Wogenstahl copied Miller and Reinhard with a loss and then four straight triumphs to win both theirs. They claimed a 17-21, 21-16, 15-13 win first, then swept 21-9, 21-15 next.

In the extra pairing, Andrea Grimes and Kinsey McAfee tied 1-1 in their first matchup before winning 21-17, 21-15 in the final match.

The Eagles' next action is the OVC Weekend at Austin Peay next Friday and Saturday before hosting the OVC Championship April 28-30.
