Women's Basketball Reveals Exciting Non-Conference Slate, Features Road Tilts At Premier Programs
2022-23 SCHEDULE

MOREHEAD, Ky. –
Morehead State women's basketball, featuring a host of new faces, looks to kick start their 2022-23 campaign with a collection of stiff challenges and exciting matchups on their non-conference slate, released this week.

"We're super excited for this upcoming season! Non-conference is all about getting ready for OVC play and meshing together as a team, which is huge for us since we have many new faces," head coach Cayla Petree said.

The Eagles will test themselves against some of the premier programs and conferences in the country, with road games scheduled at South Florida, Kentucky, and Indiana.

Other notable games include road tilts at rival Eastern Kentucky, East Tennessee State, and USC Upstate.

The home schedule for the Eagles features three in-state opponents and two rematches from last season.

The five home games are set for Nov. 22 (Spalding University [Ky.]), Nov. 26 (Presbyterian), Nov. 30 (Brescia University [Ky.]), Dec. 2 (Evansville), Dec. 4 (Bellarmine).

"I think we have put together a great group that loves to play basketball so it will be fun to watch," Petree added.

Ticket information and tip-off times will be available soon. All home games are also broadcast live on ESPN+.
