MOREHEAD, Ky. – Softball looks to get back in the win column in a midweek clash at Dayton.
The Eagles were swept in their series at Eastern Illinois over the weekend, but
Kaytlyn Cripps collected three hits over the three games, and
Lennon Spicer allowed only five hits and one earned run over 5.1 innings in the second game and added three scoreless innings of relief in the finale.
Wednesday's doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM, and can be found on ESPN+.

• In their last meeting with Dayton,
Lennon Spicer had a career long outing, an eight inning complete game victory, as she recorded wins in both ends of the doubleheader sweep from the Eagles.

Kirya Kingery, who has 11 stolen bases this season, now sits sixth in program history with 44 steals in her career. She is now three away from tying Bri Jones for fifth.
