MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Beach Volleyball has never lost to regional and former Ohio Valley Conference rival Eastern Kentucky. The Eagles will look to keep that record unblemished Saturday when they face the Colonels in Richmond. The double dual begins at 11 a.m. ET.
MSU is 10-0 all-time against EKU, including a 4-1 win at the Grand Sands Tournament on opening weekend of 2023. The Eagles won that match with wins at Nos. 2-5.Â
The Eagles are 8-8 overall this spring. No. 1 pair
Trinity Miller and
Sydney Wyman have heated up as of late, winning four consecutive straight-set results and being named OVC Pair of the Week.
Andrea Grimes also has 10 wins. Grimes has teamed with
Brenna Bommer to fashion a 7-3 mark at No. 5.Â
