MOREHEAD, Ky. --
Fresh off a Smallbore school record last weekend, Morehead State Rifle remains at home this weekend, hosting new opponent Mount Aloysius Saturday and Sunday. Both matches have first shots at 8 a.m. ET at Button Range.

The Eagles fired a 2326 against UT Martin last weekend in Smallbore to set the program record. After falling to UTM Friday, the Eagles returned to score a season high in a win Saturday.

Mount Aloysius is a Division III institution located in Cresson, Pa. The Mounties are coached by former MSU Eagle Siarra Crum. They are in their first season of intercollegiate competition.

Adrianna Beard, who nearly set the individual MSU Air Rifle record last weekend with a 595, leads the Eagles in scoring. She averages 1169.9 aggregate and 592.1 Air Rifle.

Both freshman George Kuhne and junior Hayden Bell are hovering around the 586 mark in Air average. Bell shot his season high of 590 in both matches versus UTM last weekend.

These are the final matches for the Eagles before the winter break. They'll return on Jan. 18 at VMI.
