MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Alice Lloyd College from Pippa Passes, Ky., visits Saturday for Morehead State Men's Basketball's final non-conference game of the 2024-25 season. Game time at Johnson Arena is Noon ET.
Morehead State has won all seven previous meetings with NAIA River States Conference foe Alice Lloyd (Ky.). Ironically last season, Alice Lloyd defeated Campbellsville-Harrodsburg right before playing MSU, and this year is the same scenario. The ALC Eagles are 9-3 in 2024-25.

NOTABLE
• The last non-D1 team to beat MSU was Union (Ky.) on Dec. 12, 1992. Since then, MSU is 64-0 against non-D1 opponents.
• Last season, former MSU point guard
Drew Thelwell set the program single-game assist record versus ALC with 19.
• Morehead State has scored 70+ points in six consecutive games. In the last four years now, the program is 65-11 when it scores at least 70 in a game.
• MSU has won seven straight home games. The Eagles are 25-2 in home games since Jan. 26, 2023 - three seasons ago. MSU was 14-1 at home last season and is perfect 5-0 in Johnson Arena this winter.
• Morehead State has now won seven straight overtime games dating back to the March 4, 2020 loss in extra time versus Tennessee State. MSU scored the final six points in the final 1:18 of overtime laat Thursday to defeat UT Martin.
• Kenny White, Jr. erupted for 25 points and a career-high 17 rebounds in the win over Tennessee State. He ranks among the OVC's top 10 in scoring at 13.8 per game.
• In eight of the 12 games in 2024-25, Morehead State has more assists than its opponent.
• Morehead State out-rebounded Tennessee State 44-27 last week. The Tigers entered averaging +10.5 in rebound margin. MSU is now at a +5.1 rebound martin, keeping up its strong tradition on the glass. MSU has led or ranked second in the OVC in rebound margin five straight years.
• Morehead State leads the Ohio Valley Conference in free throw attempts per game at 24.4. The Eagles have had only two games this year (at Cincinnati and at home vs. UT Martin) where they did NOT have more than 20 free throw attempts.

Jerone Morton has scored in double figures in three of the six games he's appeared in this season, and he averaged 16.5 ppg in the last two contests. Morton hit the game-tying and game-clinching baskets (in overtime) as the Eagles rallied to beat UT Martin last week.

Kade Ruegsegger has scored 1,864 career points in college, including 1,776 in four seasons at NAIA Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio).
