MEN'S SCHEDULE | WOMEN'S SCHEDULE
MOREHEAD Ky. -- The path to Ohio Valley Conference championships are set for the Morehead State women's and men's basketball programs. The league-wide schedules have been released.
Ticket information, as well as full schedules with non-conference contests, will be released later on.
This year the Conference schedules switch to a true round-robin slate of 20 games (after being 18 games a season ago). The OVC also had a 20-game league schedule from 2005-06 through 2007-08 and in 2020-21. With the increased number of games, the schedule will begin prior to Christmas, with 11 games between December 17 and December 21. The regular season will conclude on Saturday, March 1.
Both Eagle teams will play identical schedules again, with 10 home doubleheaders and 10 away contests. All games will be on Thursdays and Saturdays, except for the games against "travel partner" Southern Indiana. Both of those will be on Tuesdays.
The MSU slate begins on Thursday, Dec. 19 at home versus UT Martin and continues before and after the holiday break with Tennessee State on Dec. 21 and at USI Dec. 31.
The 2025 portion opens on the road at Little Rock on Jan. 9 and at Southeast Missouri on Jan. 11. Other than the four consecutive away games from Dec. 31-Jan. 11, MSU does not have another road swing more than two games.Â
The Eagles do, however, have a four-game homestand set for Jan. 28-Feb. 8 with USI (Tuesday, Jan. 28), Tennessee Tech, SEMO and Little Rock visiting Johnson Arena.
Senior Days will be set for Feb. 22 as the final home games will see MSU battle Eastern Illinois. Just like the beginning of the OVC ledger, the teams will end with games against TSU and UTM on the road.
The 2025 OVC Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament is slated for March 5-8 at the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind. It marks the eighth year in a row the event will be held at the venue.
