MOREHEAD, Ky. -- A familiar face has returned after a short hiatus and is now in her first full-time role in athletics. Breanna Russo has joined the Morehead State staff as marketing, promotions and fan engagement coordinator.
Russo has been a part of Morehead State Athletics since 2019 when she began as a work study.
"Morehead State has given me an amazing college experience, and I am beyond excited to get to continue my career as an Eagle," she said.
She will coordinate a majority of MSU's marketing efforts as well as implement strategies for increased attendance and community involvement.Â
Russo is from Crittenden, Ky., and she attended Walton Verona High School. Her career began at Morehead State in 2018 as she began working toward her Bachelor of Art degree in Sport Management. She graduated in 2022 and continued on as a graduate assistant pursuing her Masters Degree in Business Administration. Russo graduated with her Masters in May of 2024.
