VIDEO: Reno's Student-Athlete Spotlight With Cross Country's Jacob Vogelpohl

MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Our student-athlete spotlight is back, sponsored again by Reno's Restaurant. For the first spotlight of 2024-25, we highlight cross country fifth-year Jacob Vogelpohl.

Vogelpohl is from Independence, Ky. 

At the opening meet at Marshall last weekend, Vogelpohl crossed the line in 15:27.0, the fastest 5K time of his career, 47 seconds ahead of his previous best time which he set at the 2022 Eastern Kentucky Tri-Meet and MSU's second-quickest mark since 2012.
