MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Rifle returns to the range this weekend when the Eagles travel to face Virginia Military Institute. The match is set for Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. ET.
Since 2010, MSU has won 20 consecutive shoulder-to-shoulder matches versus VMI.
The Eagles are getting back to action after the winter break. MSU's last match was Nov. 10 at home versus Mount Aloysius (Pa.).
In Morehead State's eight matches this season, the Eagles average 2353.3 in Air Rifle and 2308.7 in Smallbore.
Adrianna Beard leads the squad with an 1169.0 overall average, while
George Kuhne is close behind at 1165.3.
The Eagles are in the midst of a busy time in the schedule. MSU has matches every weekend for the next four weeks, including the OVC Championships on Feb. 1 at Murray State.
