MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State football is set for its annual Homecoming game when the Eagles tangle with Stetson on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET.
The game can be heard on the Eagle Sports Radio Network with WIVY-96.3 FM serving as flagship station. Chuck Mraz, Jason Blanton and Tom Lewis provide the radio call. Fans can also hear it on MSUEagles.com, WGOH-100.9 FM/1370 AM, WMST-106.9 FM/1150 AM, WPKE 103.1 FM and WPRT 104.9 FM. The game will stream live on ESPN+.
Morehead State looks to even the all-time series with Stetson as the Hatters lead 5-4. However, the first meeting in the series was in the previous era of Stetson football in 1953. Stetson had a program from 1901 until 1956 before a hiatus and the return in 2013. The Eagles are 4-1 at home all-time versus Stetson. This week marks 2026 Homecoming for Morehead State. The Eagles are 2-0 in Homecoming games under head coach
Jason Woodman, both close games. In 2024, MSU outlasted Presbyterian 14-7 and the Eagles rallied to beat Marist 23-21 in 2025.
The Hatters are 1-6 on the season and 0-3 in the PFL but played a barnburner against Presbyterian last week at home, finally falling 47-43.

•
Bryce Patterson's 83-yard pass to
Cannon Dinger at Dayton set up MSU's first TD and was the longest passing play since Nate Garnett, Jr., caught an 88-yard touchdown at Davidson in 2024.
• Defensive back
Quinton Griffin has blocked a punt and a field goal this year and ranks tied for first (with five other players) in the FCS for blocked kicks.
• Safety
Sidney Webb ranks third in the PFL in total tackles with 56, averaging 7.6 per game (also third in the PFL). He's upped his tackle game though in the past three games where he has 38 stops. He is the first Eagles with three straight double-digit tackle games since Jahleel Holmes accomplished that in the final three games in 2023. The last player to have four straight double digit tackle efforts was Vincent Winey, who had 10+ in the final 5 games of 2021. Winey is now a professional wrestler in the WWE circuit under the name Harlem Lewis.
• Wide receiver
Anthony Ice ranks 21st in the FCS in total receiving yards (559) and yards per game (79.9). Ice has three 100+ yard games this season, including eight catches for 101 yards and two scores at Davidson. In the past two games, Ice has caught 15 passes for 167 yards and two scores.
• Sophomore kicker
Jordan Price still carries a perfect PAT sheet into his second year now and has now nailed 50 consecutive collegiate PAT kicks. He was a perfect 30-of-30 on PAT kicks in his first college season and is 20-of-20 this season.
• According to known records,
Jordan Price is the first Eagle kicker in program history to successfully convert 50 consecutive PAT kicks.
• Morehead State's 11 touchdowns scored against KCU tied the program's modern-era record of 11 set in 2012 against Valparaiso. MSU's seven passing TDs also tied the all-time MSU record for TDs through the air in a game.
• When
Isaiah Watts and
Sidney Webb both returned interceptions for TDs vs. KCU, it marked the first time in program history the Eagle defense recorded two "pick 6s" in the same game.
• After going 38 straight possessions without an offensive score, the Eagles have turned nine of the last 21 possessions in the Dayton and Davidson games into points, including eight touchdowns.
• Head coach
Jason Woodman's 13 wins were the most by any MSU head coach in his first two seasons coaching the program.
