MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Morehead State men's basketball squad is preparing for another Ohio Valley Conference road trip this week as the Eagles start it out at Southeast Missouri Thursday. Tip off time is 8:30 p.m. ET.

Morehead State will be looking to keep up its recent success rate playing at the Show Me Center. MSU has won five straight at SEMO since 2020-21. The program has won eight of the last nine times in Cape Girardeau since 2016-17 and 12 of the last 14 road games vs. SEMO since the 2007-08 season. Overall, the Eagles lead the series 40-23.
The Redhawks have won four straight games and sit at 13-10 overall and are tied with the Eagles in the league standings at 8-4.

Davion Cunningham's career-high 35 points lifted the Eagles to a 71-69 win in the first meeting with SEMO Jan. 10 at home. MSU trailed by as many as 12 in the second half before rallying. Cunningham's 35 ranks No. 2 for single-game points by an OVC player this year.
• MSU ranks No. 1 in the OVC in games decided by five points or less. The Eagles have been in 10 of those games this season, going 7-3. SEMO has five games in the five or less range. SIUE ranks second with nine, followed by Tennessee Tech with eight.
• MSU has won 40 straight games when its opponent scores 60 or less, since falling to No. 23-ranked Murray State on Feb. 12, 2022.
• Morehead State's streak of winning when leading with a minute left in regulation was halted Saturday when Lindenwood rallied in the final 10 seconds to beat the Eagles. MSU had won 30 straight games when holding the lead with a minute left. In the past five seasons, MSU is 73-4 when it holds the advantage with 60 or fewer seconds left.
• Morehead State has won 53 straight games when it shoots at least 50 percent from the floor.
