MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Morehead State men's basketball team will look to return to the win column after two setbacks as the Eagles take on the Ohio Valley Conference leader UT Martin in a nationally televised contest Saturday. Game time is 4 p.m. ET.

MSU is 7-3 in linear ESPN regular-season games in the past seven seasons.
Morehead State has a decisive upperhand in the series with UT Martin, leading 48-19. Since 2005-06, Morehead State is 30-7 versus UT Martin.
UTM has owned control of the top of the OVC standings all season. The Skyhawks are 19-5 overall and 11-2 in the conference.

• The previous meeting on Jan. 8 in Morehead saw UTM break a 16-game losing skid to MSU in games at MSU. The Skyhawks rallied in the second half to win 76-68.
• MSU ranks No. 1 in the OVC in games decided by five points or less. The Eagles have been in 10 of those games this season, going 7-3. UTM, on the other hand, has been in only two contests with the margin five or less.
• MSU has won 40 straight games when its opponent scores 60 or less, since falling to No. 23-ranked Murray State on Feb. 12, 2022.
• Morehead State had won 53 straight games when it shoots at least 50 percent from the floor, dating back to the 2020-21 season. But that streak was broken Thursday when the Eagles shot 50 percent but fell at SEMO.
