MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Corbin Jockers, a three-year standout at North Georgia, has transferred to the Morehead State Rifle team and will join the program for the 2026-27 season.
Jockers, a native of Elizabethtown, Pa., was a Second-Team All-Southern Conference performer in Smallbore in 2025-26.
He boasted a 585.5 Air Rifle Average in 2025-26 and had a 576.7 showing on average in Smallbore. Included in that was a 590 in Air Rifle in a match versus the Eagles on Jan. 31. He shot a 580 or better in Smallbore six times, including a season-best 585 against Jacksonville State.
Jockers' 1162.5 aggregate was the second best on the Nighthawks' team.
Off the range, Jockers has been awarded the CRCA Scholastic All-American and earned spots on the Southern Conference Honor Roll.
He attended Lower Dauphin High School and is an alum of the Palmyra Junior Rifle Team. At the Civilian Marksmanship Program's 2025 Smallbore Prone National Championships, Jockers won four national titles - in the junior metric dewar, junior metallic sight championship, junior optical sight championship and junior aggregate championship.
He will have his senior collegiate campaign left to look forward starting this fall for MSU Head Coach
