MOREHEAD, Ky. -- After her ninth career top-10 showing, Morehead State golfer
Tuva Marie Isebakke has earned her third Ohio Valley Conference Women's Golfer of the Week accolade this season.
Isebakke's award marks the ninth Golfer of the Week for the program in 2025-26, which - according to records - is a league record for most awards by a team in one season.
Isebakke, a senior from Spydeberg, Norway, finished tied for eighth among 100 players at the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge in Pawley's Island, S.C. Her third-round 70 was one under par. She also shot a 73 in round two. The Eagles finished tied for fifth in the 19-team field.
"Tuva played really solid this week," said Head Coach
Stephanie Barker. "Wednesday was the toughest day with winds gusting to 30 miles per hour. She handled it well, and that was something the team also handled well this week."
Heading into the OVC Tournament in two weeks, Isebakke leads the conference with a 74.5 average. MSU will shoot for back-to-back OVC titles on April 19-21 in Dalton, Ga.
