2008: Tied a MSU record with 28 appearances last season … All appearances were in relief … Went 2-3 with a 6.47 ERA and six saves … Picked up wins over Buffalo and Southeast Missouri and had saves against Tennessee, Marshall, Tennessee Tech, UT Martin, Murray State and Southeast Missouri … Member of the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2007: Pitched in 14 games, making eight starts … Was winless in six decisions with an 8.18 ERA … Losses were to Oakland, Youngstown State, Arizona, Eastern Kentucky, Austin Peay and Murray State … One of 15 Baseball Eagles to be named the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll … Was a starting pitcher for Joplin in the Jayhawk League and went 1-1 with a 2.02 ERA and 30 strikeouts over the summer.

PRIOR TO MSU: A multi-sport star at Leslie County High School …. All-district and all-region in baseball … Tallied 34 career wins and nearly 300 career strikeouts … Hit .350 with 10 home runs … Played in the Kentucky East-West All-Star Game and in the 13th/14th Region All-Star Game … All-region as a quarterback on Leslie County’s football team … Earned all-state mention in basketball … Had a 3.987 high school grade point average and was a member of the National Honor Society.
