2009: Made five appearances out of the bullpen … Allowed one run in an inning of work against Valparaiso.

PRIOR TO MSU: Prepped at Louisville Trinity High School … Was 5-2 as a senior, 7-0 with a 1.01 ERA as a junior … Trinity appeared in the state baseball semifinals in 2004 and 2005 … Also played for Trinity’s 2002 state football championship squad … Originally attended Long Beach State where he pitched one scoreless inning … Then attended Cypress College.
