Competed in three meets on the season ... Best finish was 30:37.45 at the Greater Louisville Classic.

PRIOR TO MSU: As a senior at Russell HIgh School, Knupp placed 119th in the state cross country championships and 21st in the regional meet for the runner-up Red Devils. ... As a sophomore in 2016, he finished 169th at the state meet as Russell finished fifth in the team standings. ... Was 25th at the regional cross country meet, with Russell winning the team title.
