Sarah Wilson is in her fifth year as the head dance team coach. A native of Westerville, Ohio, Wilson earned her bachelor's degree from MSU in 2007 and her master's degree as well from MSU in 2009. She is currently the Director of Applied Research Service & Policy in MSU's department of IRAP.

Wilson is trained in ballet, jazz, pom, and high kick dance, and she has danced for 15 years. Wilson was a member of the MSU dance team from 2003-2006.  She has also worked for the AmeriDance organization and has served as a judge for the Showcase competition circuit.

In 2011, she coached the first MSU Dance Team to compete competively in more than 10 years.
