Biography

AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2018)
Developed into a big contributor on both defense and as return specialist…Saw action in all 11 games, including six in the starting lineup at free safety…Finished the season with 25 total tackles, including 15 solo tackles…First start came against San Diego and he recorded career-high eight tackles….Had four tackles against Davidson…Top return man for the Eagles, with 21 kick returns for 483 yards, including a blazing, 92-yard return for a touchdown against nationally-ranked Austin Peay…Finished that game with five returns for career-high 163 yards. 

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2017)
Played in seven games, all off the bench…Returned three kicks for 50 yards and Austin Peay…Finished with four returns for 65 yards…Nine of his 11 total tackles were solo stops.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2016)
Saw action in one game before accepting a redshirt season.

AS A FRESHMAN (2015)
Appeared in 11 games ... Recorded an interception at Virginia Military Institute ... Notched 16 total tackles, 13 of which were solos ... Completed five kick returns for 140 yards.

HIGH SCHOOL
Tallied 125 total tackles his final two prep seasons for Head Coach Jeff Carlberg … Made 70 stops, including five sacks, and forced three fumbles as a senior in 2014 … Scored three touchdowns, including one on a kickoff return, as a senior … Notched 54 total tackles as a junior … Named Honorable Mention All-Region his final two seasons … Also named Honorable Mention All-American in baseball by Perfect Game … His father, James, played college baseball at Florida A&M.
