Andrew Soucy is in his third season at Morehead State, coaching the defensive line.
In his time at MSU, he guided Vaughn Taylor, Jr., to the 2021 PFL Defensive Player of the Year honor as well as multiple All-American honors. The Eagles led the entire PFL in tackles for loss, turnovers created and red zone defense in 2021. MSU also ranked 11th nationally in tackles for loss.Â
Soucy, who came to the Eagles after a stint as an assistant coach at Pikeville (Ky.), was the 2010 OVC Defensive Player of the Year at Eastern Kentucky.

Soucy, a defensive tackle himself, was also named an Associated Press Third-Team All-American in 2010 and was a two-time (2009 and 2010) First-Team All-OVC performer.

At Pikeville as the defensive line coach and run game coordinator, Soucy helped the Bears to a pair of winning seasons. The defensive unit recorded more than 50 tackles for loss all five seasons.

Prior to UPike, Soucy held coaching positions at Dunbar High School in Lexington, Ky., And Madison Central High School in Richmond, Ky.

The native of Woodstock, Ga., earned his bachelor's degree in fire safety engineering technology from EKU in 2011. He earned a Master's Degree in Business and Healthcare Administration from UPike in 2017.
