Dominique Battle

Dominique Battle is in his second season at Morehead State.

Battle, who played at the University of Cincinnati, coaches the cornerbacks.

Battle suited up for the Bearcats from 2008-12, including his best season as a sophomore in 2009 when he made 52 tackles, including 28 solo stops, and had four tackles for a loss. He also picked off two passes. He helped the Bearcats to four Big East titles and four bowl game appearances (2008 Orange Bowl, 2009 Sugar Bowl, 2011 Liberty Bowl and 2012 Belk Bowl).
 
Battle was Cincinnati's Newcomer of the Year award winner for the team in 2008. In 20015, he was named to the CincyOnTheProwl.com All-Decade Team as a cornerback.
 
A native of Boca Raton, Fla., Battle attended high school at the American Heritage Academy, where he recorded 14 interceptions over a three-year span.
 
Battle's most recent position was a defensive quality control assistant at Eastern Kentucky.
 
Battle graduated from Cincinnati in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in communications.
