Roland Brady, who helped Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) win the NAIA national championship during the 2020-21 season, is now in his first season on the Morehead State coaching staff. He mentors the Eagle linebackers.
Brady, who played collegiately at Campbellsville (Ky.) and Kentucky State, helped Lindsey Wilson to a perfect 11-0 record and the NAIA national title in the spring of 2021. He coached the outside linebackers in 2020 and the cornerbacks in 2021. He coached Robert Carter to a First-Team All-Mid South Conference honor.
Prior to Lindsey Wilson, Brady served the 2019 season as a graduate assistant defensive line coach at Bluffton (Ohio). He was also the life skills and academic coordinator for the program. One of Brady's defensive linemen was named all-conference.
Following two years as a student assistant at his alma mater, Kentucky State, Brady was a graduate assistant at Howard Payne (Texas).Â
At Kentucky State he was the assistant linebackers and assistant special teams coordinator for the 2018 season where he helped develop three all-conference players. The Thorobreds ranked 14th in Division II in punt returns.
As a college athlete, Brady won two conference championships at Campbellsville and a conference divisional title at KSU.Â
Brady earned his Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice from Kentucky State in 2018.
