Ryan Watts is in his first season on staff at MSU, serving as wide receivers coach and special teams coordinator.

Watts most recently served as wide receivers coach and director of football operations at Missouri Western since the 2017 season. Prior to that, he served one season as an offensive assistant at Abilene Christian.

Watts began his coaching venture as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Stephen F. Austin. During the 2011-15 seasons, he also headed the filming department for the Lumberjack program.

He graduated from SFA with his bachelor's degree in 2014. Watts and his wife, Katie, have one daughter - Quinn.
