Valin Kattoula is in his third season with the staff at Morehead State. He was the administrative assistant and assistant offensive line coach in 2021 and will lead the tight ends starting in 2022.

Kattoula, a native of San Diego, Calif., most recently served as assistant offensive line and strength and conditioning coach at the school he started his college playing career at - Southwestern (Calif.) College.

Kattoula also played college football at South Dakota (2016), Northwestern Oklahoma (2017) and Central Washington (2018).

He is a member of the AFCA and is a AFCA Committee member.

He earned his bachelor's degree in health and sport science from Northwestern Oklahoma in 2017 and earned his Master's Degree in 2020 from Central Washington in athletic administration. He is in the process of earning his Ph.D in education from Liberty.
