Josh Seitz

Josh Seitz is in his first season an assistant coach for the cross country and track & field programs.

Seitz, a distance runner, was mentored by MSU Head Coach Brent Ericksen for four years.  He spent four seasons at Southern Oregon (2007-11), including three with Ericksen, before wrapping up his time as a student-athlete at MSU (2011-12). He set the MSU 3,000-meter steeplechase record in 2012.

A native of Forest Grove, Ore., Seitz was a member of Southern Oregon’s 2010 NAIA cross country national championship team.  He also set the Cascade Collegiate Conference steeplechase record.

Seitz served as team captain for both programs at MSU and earned Most Valuable Runner honors during his only cross country season with the Eagles in 2011.

He graduated from Southern Oregon in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.  He is currently working on a master’s degree in education at Morehead State.
