Competed in four races … Posted a season-best 27:45.78 at the Vanderbilt Commodore Classic … Opened his collegiate career by placing 72nd out of 173 with a time of 23:34.01.

PRIOR TO MSU
Named WVSSAC All-State in 2011 and 2012 ... Earned First-Team All-Conference in 2010, 2011 and 2012 ... Finished eighth at the 2012 West Virginia 5K State Championship, where he clocked a personal-best 16:28 ... In track, finished second at the 2012 state championship meet in the 1,600-meter run ... Ran personal bests of 9:52 in the 3,200-meter, 4:29 in the 1,600-meter and 2:01 in the 800.
