Van Damrongsri is in his first season on the tennis coaching staff following an award-winning career at Louisville.

Damrongsri won more than 60 singles matches in his career, and he was named to the All-Academic Teams for the Big East and American Athletic Conferences.

Also a member of U of L's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, he is a native of Ellicott City, Md. where he attended Mt. Hebron High School where he was ranked among the nation's top 100 players as a senior.

Damrongsri earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science from Louisville in 2015.
