PRIOR TO MSU
Bunting was the National Division Runner of the Year for the Southern Buckeye Athletic and Academic Conference this past fall in cross country... Named to the All-SBAAC First Team... His Clermont Northeast High School Rockets captured back-to-back league crowns in 2021 and 2022. In outdoor track and field, the Batavia, Ohio resident, owns second-fastest time in the 3,200m (10:08.71) and third-fastest mark in the 1,600m (4:55.92) in his school’s history. As a senior, he won every regular-season meet in which he raced... In his junior season, finished 49th at the state’s Division II championship.
