Alex Giles is in his first season as a graduate assistant with Morehead State women's basketball.

Prior to arriving at Morehead State, Giles was on the girls' basketball coaching staff at College Station High School in College Station, Texas. Giles was head coach of the junior varsity team, while serving as an assistant on the varsity staff.

In 2016, Giles earned a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology from Texas A&M University, where he also spent time as a women's basketball practice player in 2014-15.
