AS A SECOND YEAR (FALL 2023)
Competed in four meets this season... Season best time of 21.27.00 in the 5k at the Thundering Herd Invitational. Season Best time of 26.58.50 in the 6K at the Angel Mounds Invitational.
AS A FIRST YEAR (FALL 2022)
Competed in four meets this season... Began the season with a 4K time of 17:18.0 at the Eastern Kentucky Tri-Meet... Ran a season best 6K time of 26:38.19 at the Spartan Invitational.
PRIOR TO MSU
Skaggs graduated from Thomas Nelson High School in Bardstown, Ky. In her first track season as a distance runner, she placed 13th in the 3,200m at the 2A KHSAA outdoor state meet. She placed seventh in the 3,000m run at the state indoor meet. In 2021 in cross country, she placed 51st at the state championship and 10th at the regional championship. ... "I'm really excited to see what Casey can do in college running," Dixon said. "She showed lots of potential with just a year of distance running under her belt. I think she can have huge upside and develop into a solid distance runner in the OVC."
