PRIOR TO MSU
Boyce hails from Bolingbrook High School, where she finished 10th in the sectionals in the 4x400m as a senior. Primarily a relay runner throughout her high school career, Boyce won two indoor long jump competitions as a senior. As a junior, she placed 15th at the conference championships in the 400m. Indoors that season, she was 16th in the 60m and fifth as a member of the 4x400 relay squad at the conference championships. Some of her best results came as a sophomore. That year at the conference meet, she was sixth in the 100m and second in the 300m hurdles individually, and was eighth as part of the 4x100m relay team. She also placed ninth in the sectional in the 4x800m relay that spring. She also was a member of the Zephyrs Track Club for seven seasons, where she competed at the AAU Northern Outdoor Nationals as both a sophomore and a junior, with her best finish coming in the 800m, which she won in 2023.  At that meet, she also finished ninth in the 400m and 14th in the 200m. She also participated in both the USATF Illinois and AAU Regional Junior Olympics. At the 2019 USATF Illinois meet, her 4x400m relay team won its age group competition. She also was fourth in the 800m in her age group at the same meet in 2022. Her “pr’s” are 13.83 in the 100m, 28.97 in the 200m, 1:07.45 in the 400m, and 13’09.50” in the long jump.
