Garrett Custis is in his first year as an assistant with the Morehead State program. Custis graduated from the University of Wyoming with a BS in Biology and a BA in Philosophy in May 2025.

Following two seasons as a student manager for the Wyoming volleyball program, he spent last season as an Athletics Administrative Assistant. Custis also was a volunteer assistant at Laramie High School. He also coached with the Loveland, Colorado-based NORCO Volleyball Club.
