MSU soccer alum Teig Palmateer is in her third year as an assistant athletic trainer.
Palmateer spent two years at Division III The University of the South covering women's soccer, field hockey, women's basketball, and men's lacrosse. She did her clinical rotations from 2016-18 at Division I Chattanooga working with football, wrestling, and volunteer softball tournaments. She also worked at the middle and high school levels, at Chattanooga student health, and did orthopedic clinic and surgery observations.
Palmateer returned to Morehead after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Morehead State in 2016. She was a member of the MSU women's soccer team from 2012-15 and was named Second-Team All OVC her senior season. Palmateer went on to receive her Master of Science in Athletic from Chattanooga in 2018.
