• OVC journeyman Kenny White, Jr., is leading MSU with 13.0 points per game so far and is the lone Eagle to reach double figures in all three contests.MSU is the fourth OVC (current or former) school White, Jr., has been at.

• Graduate transfer Kade Ruegsegger posted his first D1 double-double against Boyce (Ky.). Ruegsegger, an all-conference player for Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) in the NAIA, scored 1,776 career points at MVNU. He is the third consecutive player from the NAIA ranks to transfer to MSU, joining Alex Gross (Olivet Nazarene [Ill.]) in 2022-23 and Riley Minix (Southeastern [Fla.]) in 2023-24.

• After three contests, Morehead State's tradition of tough rebounding has held up. The Eagles rank third in the OVC in rebound margin at +3.6. MSU grabbed 45 boards at Louisville and tied No. 20 Cincinnati on the boards, 30-30.
