Junior closer Matt Duncan made a statement that he belonged in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Stopper of the Year Watch List this weekend in Macon, Ga. Duncan earned his first save of the season in game two, a 9-8 Eagle victory over Mercer. He tossed three scoreless innings during appearances in games two and four and allowed only one hit.
