After a prolific offensive week, Morehead State senior guard Chynna Bozeman was named Monday as the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week. 

Bozeman averaged 29.0 points in MSU's two wins last week, scoring 28 versus Tennessee State and 30 against Austin Peay. It was her seventh career 30-point game and fourth this season. She also shot 87 percent from the free throw line, 47 percent from the field and dished out 4.0 assists per game last week.

She ranks second in the league in scoring at 19.2 points per game but is only 0.5 per game behind the leader. Nationally, Bozeman ranks 23rd in scoring, and she ranks 13th nationally and first in the OVC with 70 steals. Bozeman is on pace to eclipse Donna Murphy as the Eagles' career scoring leader.
