Cartwright  pitched 1.2 innings of scoreless relief on Saturday as the Eagles beat UNC Asheville 7-5. He didn’t allow a hit and earned his first save of the season. So far in 2012, Cartwright is 2-0 and has pitched seven innings while not allowing a single run to score on his watch. Opponents are hitting  just .087 off him.
