Junior guard Kareem Storey of the men's basketball team has been named this week’s Male Pepsi Student-Athlete of the Week.

The Baltimore native handed out 15 assists in his Morehead State debut on Saturday.  He also recorded seven rebounds and two steals in MSU's 107-60 win over Mid-Continent (Ky.).

The point guard collected more than half of Morehead State's 29 helpers.  His total was just one from tying the school's single-game record and eclipsed Mid-Continent's total for the night by two.

For his efforts, he was also named Ohio Valley Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week by College Sports Madness for the period of Nov. 4-10.
