Zachariah Elliott has been named this week’s Male Pepsi Student-Athlete of the Week.
Elliot was also named Ohio Valley Conference co-Male Runner of the Week after his performance Saturday night at the Brooks Memphis Twilight.

The Central Point, Ore., native placed third out of 173 runners in a field that included several regionally-ranked teams. His performance helped Morehead State to a second place finish out of eight squads. The Eagles were just five points behind Mississippi State in the team standings. He covered the 4.2 mile course in 21:33, only seven seconds behind the second place finisher.
