Freshman runner Karina Manz has been named this week’s Female Pepsi Student-Athlete of the Week.

It is her second honor of the season.

The Hadt, Germany native led the women’s cross country team at the NCAA Southeast Regional by covering the 6K course in 22:59.6, which stands as the fourth-best time in program history.

MSU recorded its best NCAA Southeast Regional finish since 2006.
