Senior Chase Ratliff of the men's track and field team has been named this week’s Male Pepsi Student-Athlete of the Week.

Ratliff, a native of Pikeville, Ky., broke teammate Jesse Moreno's school record by two seconds, finishing second among 32 racers with a time of 14:40.91. Moreno's previous mark was established just three weeks ago at the Raleigh Relays.

It his his first honor of the season.
